Before I start my thoughts on this topic, I am a woman.  I have been working for 18 years...12 of those years have been in an office.  I have been on both ends--as a subordinate and as a manager.  I tried extremely hard not to manage with my emotions when I had people working for me, and I hope I was always fair in my treatment of people.

That being said, I work for a monster.  My boss, is just plain emotional.  Get ready for a gripe session.  She is moody, nasty, and cutting one moment and then then next she is laughing like nothing ever happened.  I never know what dose of crazy to expect.  I am not sure what the best way to handle someone like this..

Favoritism..She plays favorites. We are an office of 6 gals..Three of us are the uglies, and the other 3 are the darlings.  It's awful when you start your morning feeling bad already. And we work in one room, no cubicle so you can make any faces or flip anyone under the desk!!

Any thoughts???

So I'm just learning about how to use Mindsay, (obviously a novice blogger).  But I am grateful that Mindsay has the option to block users who repeatedly contact you when you have asked them not to! I'm hoping to move on from this nasty experience.  I've learned thus far that I should research someone's page before I add my 2 cents--get a feeling for their "temperament".  Because you never know what your dealing with!!!

I may not have any friends and maybe no one's reading this, but it feels pretty good to write it down.

It's amazing how quickly American's are being attacked for voicing their disapproval of the upcoming health care reform.

Since when did people not have the right to speak? I thought we were protected under the First Amendment.

Mobs of people...hahaha what a copout.  Do Liberals have nothing left to demonize?  They have demonized the Republicans, the insurance companies/hospitals, now on to the average Joe? Liberals love to stamp their feet and cry foul.  Personally I think this administration has a little fear in them..

Obama is certainly driving a stake right down the middle of this country, now more racially charged than ever. 

How do we handle the uncovering of someone's secret addiction? Shock, disbelief, denial? Acceptance, absorption, assistance?  I am still in amazement about Diane Schuler, the mother who was driving on the Taconic Pkwy last week responsible for the deaths of 7 innocent people.  I just cannot understand how a mother could do what she did.  Her husband, who should be grieving, seems to be in complete denial about the conclusions from the autopsy.  I cannot imagine how the other families involved feel.  He wants his wife's body exhumed for an independent autopsy? C'mon guy, let it go.  Admit your wife did wrong.  Your wife killed 7 people.  Put your head down and grieve for those other people instead of trying to save your wife's reputation.
